General Motors Implements TierConnect Technology
PLYMOUTH, Mich., October, 2009 — TierConnect, Inc., a leading provider in Enterprise Material Management Software, and Hewlett Packard announce General Motors has selected TierConnect’s ReverseSCM Non-Conforming Material application to support its supply chain operations throughout its global enterprise.
GM selected HP to implement TierConnect’s solution to decrease cost and improve quality associated with scrap material in their assembly and manufacturing facilities. The application’s deployment, which has been in use by GM in their North American assembly business unit since 2008, will be expanded as part of GM’s global system deployment.
