TierConnect Announces Major Corporate Milestones

Company moves to Plymouth and Names New CEO

PLYMOUTH, Mich., June, 2008 — TierConnect, Inc., specialists in Enterprise Material Management, is announcing key milestones, including a new location of its global headquarters and placement of executive leadership.

TierConnect has moved its main office to downtown Plymouth, a city that offers access to the company’s automotive and appliance manufacturing customers based in the Midwest. The new facility at 729 W. Ann Arbor Trail is home to administration, technical and marketing leadership. The office also is electronically interfaced to its operations in La Paz, Boliva where developers continually improve the on-demand software.

TierConnect also welcomes its newest executives to its leadership team. Al Salerno has been named CEO and president. Salerno formerly held leadership roles at other IT companies, including Computer Associates and SupplySolution (now TradeBeam, Inc.), after growing his own company, Salerno Manufacturing Systems.

Ken Hamkins, formerly a manufacturing specialist at Ford Motor Company and architect of TierConnect’s flagship non-conforming materials management software, has joined the team as director of professional services. Hamkins will oversee product development enhancements and customer implementation of the non-conforming materials management application.

TierConnect is successfully winning business and implementing key products for manufacturers. “We’re moving in an excellent direction to help our manufacturing customers drive continuous improvement into their organizations. We have the right people in place to build on a successful on-demand software model,” said Gus Riveria, cofounder of TierConnect.

TierConnect’s non-conforming material management software application eliminates manual tags, data inaccuracy, and provides immediate visibility of nonconforming materials. Reductions in material loss, scrap and labor metrics are realized with the use of the software.
