TierConnect, Inc. Names Leland Grubb as Board Chairman

Wixom, Mich., December 13, 2005—Wixom, Mich.-based software provider, TierConnect, Inc. announced today the appointment of automotive industry veteran Leland Grubb as chairman of its board of directors. The announcement was made by TierConnect president and CEO, Michael Betts. Founded in 2002, TierConnect provides manufacturing and other continuous improvement material management environments with customized software applications to keep pace with rapid changes in business processes.

Grubb is the chief financial officer for Engineered Plastic Products (EPP) of Ypsilanti, Mich. EPP holds major contracts with DaimlerChrysler Corporation, as well as General Motors Corporation, specializing in the design and manufacturing of plastic injection-molded interior trim components.

Previously, Grubb was a principal at ChangeScape, Inc., a healthcare consultancy delivering process and information technology solutions to the healthcare industry. Grubb has held financial leadership roles with SupplySolution, Inc., Thomas Group, Detroit Diesel Corporation and General Motors Corporation.

Grubb earned a bachelor of arts from Thiel College in 1966 and an MBA degree from Kent State University in 1968. In 1984, he completed Harvard University’s Post Management Development Program.
